Miki (美集), located at the foot of Katong Shopping Centre along Mountbatten Road since 1986 where the business started off with just serving only 10 items in the menu and with a seating capacity of 20-pax. In case you wonder, Katong Shopping Centre was established in 1971 and it was the first air-conditioned mall in Singapore. Those who grew up around the area would have witnessed the changes in this neighborhood, which definitely involves many fond memories to many. Miki is among one of the oldest food businesses along the stretch from Mountbatten Road to East Coast Road, which has gone through the years with many.
Keeping to its simple and casual set-up, Miki believes in and focuses in the food qualities it serves. Through years of perseverance and hard work, Miki now proudly presents its menu to over 140 varieties of dishes and has expanded to 150-pax seating.
“Beautiful things and people gathers in one place” - a simple interpretation from its name ‘美集’ (pronounce as 'mei(3) ji(2)'). Miki will never stop improving itself, and strive the best to its customers.
